Global health symposium: climate change and health equity

About the symposium

Climate change poses current and increasing threats to the health of humans and planetary life. Health risks will increase and worsen as the climate continues to warm, and new public health challenges will emerge. The challenges exist in protecting the health and well-being of the planet, people and species, especially the most vulnerable.

The Global Health Symposium on climate change and health equity is the first interfaculty symposium that brings together experts from different fields to reflect on this topic. The two-day symposium will be organized by Prof. Muriel Vermarien, Prof. Bruno Bonnechere, and Prof. Niel Hens.
